THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND EXTERNAL LINKS STATEMENT

1. Purpose and legal status

This Third-Party Services and External Links Statement (Statement) explains how third-party products, providers, data sources, integrations, websites and links may be used with or referenced by the Chance Lab website, applications, accounts and related services (Service). It forms part of the legal terms governing the Service and must be read with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Subscription and Billing Terms, Service and Lottery Analysis Disclaimer and other documents incorporated by the Terms of Use.

This Statement does not exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. If there is an inconsistency, mandatory law prevails.

2. Independent third parties

Unless Chance Lab expressly states otherwise, each third-party provider is legally and operationally independent of OCEANSKY ENTERPRISES PTY LTD. A reference, link, logo, data feed, payment interface, email delivery function or technical integration does not create a partnership, agency, joint venture, sponsorship, endorsement, fiduciary relationship or authority for either party to bind the other.

Third-party names, trade marks and service marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify relevant products, games, information or services where lawful.

3. Categories of third-party services

The Service may rely on or interact with third parties for payment processing, subscription administration, email delivery, hosting and infrastructure, security and fraud prevention, operational support, public or licensed lottery information, and links to official operators, authorities or other websites. The providers and technical arrangements may change where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, availability or operations.

The presence of a category in this Statement does not promise that a particular provider, feature or integration is currently available or will remain available.

4. Payment processing and Stripe

Chance Lab may use Stripe and its related entities to process payments, manage payment methods, support subscription billing and perform fraud, identity or transaction controls. Payment information submitted through a Stripe-hosted or Stripe-enabled interface is handled under Stripe's applicable terms and privacy practices as well as applicable law.

Chance Lab does not control a card issuer, bank, payment network or payment provider's approval, decline, delay, verification, chargeback, currency conversion, fee or account decision. Plus access is activated only when Chance Lab receives sufficient confirmation of successful payment. A payment provider's action does not remove the user's obligations under the Subscription and Billing Terms, except to the extent required by law.

5. Email and communications providers

Chance Lab may use service providers, including Google email services or another suitable provider, to send account, security, subscription, legal, support and authorised marketing communications. Delivery may be affected by the recipient's provider, filtering, mailbox settings, address accuracy, network conditions or third-party outages.

Users remain responsible for providing and maintaining an accurate email address, checking relevant folders and keeping account contact information current. Failure of a third party to deliver a message does not invalidate a notice where Chance Lab has used a legally permitted method and taken reasonable steps required by applicable law.

6. Hosting, infrastructure and overseas processing

Chance Lab may use hosting, storage, network, security, monitoring and support providers located in or operating from the United States or other countries described in the Privacy Policy. These providers may process information on Chance Lab's behalf under contractual, technical and organisational controls appropriate to their role.

No internet, cloud or third-party infrastructure can be guaranteed to be continuously available, completely secure or error-free. Chance Lab may migrate, replace, restrict or reconfigure a provider where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, data, legal compliance or business continuity.

7. Lottery operators, authorities and data sources

Official lottery operators and relevant authorities—not Chance Lab—are the authoritative sources for draw results, game rules, entry deadlines, eligibility, odds, prize divisions, ticket validity and prize claims. Chance Lab may display, transform, compare or analyse public, licensed, controlled or third-party information, but does not conduct draws or control the underlying official information.

Third-party information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, reformatted or corrected after publication. Users must independently verify all time-sensitive, participation-related or transaction-related information with the official source before acting. Chance Lab may correct, replace, reprocess, quarantine or withdraw affected material where reasonably necessary.

8. External links and leaving the Service

The Service may contain links or references to websites, applications, documents or resources operated by third parties. Once a user follows an external link, the third party's terms, privacy practices, cookies, accessibility, content, security and availability apply. Chance Lab does not control those external environments.

A link is supplied for convenience or context and does not constitute endorsement, verification or a promise that the destination is accurate, lawful, safe, suitable or continuously available. Users should inspect the destination, confirm its identity and apply appropriate security precautions before submitting information, downloading content or entering a transaction.

9. Third-party terms, accounts and charges

A third party may require a separate account, acceptance of separate terms, identity verification, device permissions or payment of its own fees. Users are responsible for complying with those requirements and for charges, taxes, data usage or other obligations arising from their independent relationship with the third party.

Chance Lab is not authorised to waive, interpret or enforce a third party's terms on that party's behalf. A dispute about a third-party product or transaction should ordinarily be directed to that third party, without limiting any right the user may have against Chance Lab under applicable law.

10. No control over third-party conduct

Third-party availability, content, systems, security practices, data handling, decisions, errors, omissions, delays and service changes are outside Chance Lab's reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chance Lab is not responsible for loss to the extent caused by a third party, the user's failure to verify an external destination or official source, or use of a third-party service contrary to its terms or reasonable security warnings.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that Chance Lab has under applicable law for the Service supplied by Chance Lab, including where Chance Lab caused or contributed to the loss.

11. Security and prohibited use

Users must not use an integration or external link to bypass access controls, test vulnerabilities without written authority, introduce malicious code, scrape protected material, impersonate Chance Lab or a provider, interfere with a third-party service, or conduct fraud, chargeback abuse or unauthorised transactions.

Chance Lab may disable a link or integration, withhold or suspend access, require verification, preserve relevant records and cooperate with providers or authorities where reasonably necessary to investigate or address security, fraud, payment, legal or misuse concerns.

12. Changes, suspension and replacement

Chance Lab may add, change, suspend, replace or remove a third-party provider, integration, data source or external link where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, technical, commercial or operational reasons. Chance Lab does not promise continued compatibility with every third-party product, device, account or interface.

If a change materially affects an existing paid service, Chance Lab will handle the effect in accordance with the Terms of Use, Subscription and Billing Terms and applicable law. No user acquires a permanent right to a particular third-party provider merely because it was previously used or displayed.

13. Privacy and data handling

Chance Lab's collection, use and disclosure of personal information to service providers is governed by the Privacy Policy. A third party acting independently for its own purposes may apply its own privacy policy and legal obligations. Users should review the relevant third-party notice before providing information directly to that party.

Chance Lab does not authorise a service provider to use Chance Lab user data for the provider's independent marketing merely because the provider supplies infrastructure or operational services, unless the user separately agrees or applicable law permits it.

14. Consumer rights and remedies

Nothing in this Statement excludes, restricts or modifies the Australian Consumer Law or another right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Where permitted by law, responsibility is limited to the loss reasonably attributable to Chance Lab's own act or omission and is reduced to the extent the user or a third party caused or contributed to the loss.

Where the law permits a remedy for failure to comply with a service consumer guarantee to be limited, the remedy may be limited to resupplying the relevant services or paying the reasonable cost of resupply.

15. Changes to this Statement

Chance Lab may update this Statement to reflect changes to providers, integrations, data sources, the Service, risks, law or reasonable operations. The updated document will be published on this page with its effective date. Material changes affecting existing paid users will be handled in accordance with the Terms of Use and applicable law.
